A story about a 6 year girl who left love notes behind

There was a six year old girl, named Elena Desserich, who died of brain cancer two years ago.  As she was dying, she had written hundreds of love notes to her parents and younger sister all over the house in small corners such as under some plates, in a bookshelf, etc.  These notes are like hugs and kisses for her parents and little sister to remember her by.  One note said “I love you Mom, Dad and Grace,” with a little heart.  Elena’s mom and dad mentioned that this message can be universal, Cherish the small moments in life, be present for those who you love.
