This information pertains to the US however check in your country, for instance, what the bar codes on the labels mean – conventionally grown produce, organically or genetically modified. The more we are aware the better choices we can make for ourselves and our family. – If you want to grow your own garden however be part of a larger group check out this site. It is American so you may need to confirm that the same rules apply. – For those in the US you can check out community supported agricultural farms. Take a look at this site. For others it will give you ides. – For those that are concerned about stopping all that junk mail from coming to your house — here are a couple of ideas. Just a reminder of this fabulous site –  I am about to move so I wanted to share with those thinking of buying a new product and/or renovating and replacing an old item to check out this site. The site lists energy saving products in Canada. – great site for items want to recycle and to purchase – This is a Canadian site about recycling. It has a lot of valuable information.  –  I love this site. It is a not-for-profit organization that helps recycle goods. Please take a look.  Become part of a group of people around the world who are working to help pass on items to others and avoid sending it to landfills.  Once you become a member (it’s free) you subscribe to a list and offer any unwanted stuff to other members or look for something.  There is no selling or trading allowed.  You choose who the lucky recipient is.  Again, it gives people from other countries ideas. – This site offers alternative cleaner recipes.
