Removing the ‘cloak’ and baring all

There are still so many people who still buy into appearances. I realize that we can only ‘see’ someone for what they show you. It still amazes me how many people buy into this line of thinking and behaviour.

I know this is changing and really in the end it doesn’t matter for I know that only what I give attention to will ‘be’ in my life.

So really I need to give it no attention. I also get to decide who I surround myself with and who I work with. I have no control how others behave and present themselves except to know their truth allowing me to respond accordingly.

I am happy to say that those people who choose to live their life and continue to wear a cloak – to worry about showing a certain appearance – that is their choice. In fact, there are some that don’t know any different. In other words they believe what they show others.

I am putting this to bed once and for all and embracing me and my truth. This comes after a decade of experience dealing with others who continue to cloak themselves. I can only live my life as I know it – be true to me and be authentic. I have learned that one place I do need to work on is not showing all my cards. My tendency is to bare all. For the most part I will however there are times when I do not need to disclose all. There are times when it is not necessary. It doesn’t mean I am not being truthful.

I guess that what I am saying is that in this time of flux and continued change… continue to be true to you. Don’t worry about others especially those that you feel lie, cheat, pretend or whatever. Those people still need to live with themselves.

I have given too much ‘air space’ to these type of people. If others cannot see what I see — so what.

It is time to focus on me and my behaviour and my thoughts and beliefs.

On that note…. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.

Out with the old ways and moving forward with my truth and authenticity.

All my love,
