Should CEOs give a tweet?

CEOs are being told that you NEED to be twittering. I recently read an article that gives some good advice:

“Success with social media comes from doing things that are worth talking about, not by spending time within social networks. Zappos did it by creating a reputation for world-class customer service. Apple did it by focusing on creating products that people love. Seth Godin did by creating content that people want to consume every single day.

If you really want to be successful in social media, spend your time thinking about what will truly cause the entire world to stand up and take notice. Then, go do that.”
