Words from Sarah-Jane Grace, Spirit Library

These are some words that resonated with me from a posting from Sarah-Jane Grace.

“The grass isn’t always greener on the other side of the fence, sometimes we need to accept that the grass is what we make of it and if we give the grass under our feet more attention than the seemingly rich green grass over yonder, we can begin to grow, fertilise and tender what we have.”

We live in a disposable world and we are seeing the results of this (not favourable in my opinion). Perhaps if we took a little longer to get to know someone, or do something or even follow our dreams more of what we want would unfold. I have been pursuing my passion on youth advocacy since 2004 and what I have seen is its evolution. Is it frustrating at times, yes. Are there times I want to just ‘throw in the towel’, yes. However, I am always drawn back to my passion because it’s my truth.

Don’t just walk away from something or someone until you know in your heart that it is not right for you (anymore) and you will know this by following your heart.
